Lough Glore Anglers Club

Welcome to our new website.This site has been set up for the provision of information about lough Glore and the lough Glore angling club.The club was set up some  years ago.Among its founder members are Paddy Smith and his wife Caroline.The main aims of the club are to provide a safe,legal enjoyable area for everyone to fish.Lough Glore is a natural fishery and the club hope to maintain this.This provides a natural balance of native species which provides balanced fishing for all anglers.The conservation of the Glore river and environs is also important to us.We endeavour to keep the access road,access gates and parking area in tip top condition.We also try to upkeep the newly refurbished slipway . With fisheries help we hope to keep this lake as a natural fishery.The club runs several competitions throughout the year which are run under strict fishery and club rules.Whenever possible a fishery officer is on hand to ensure everything is above board and legal.We would implore anyone visiting the lake to leave is as they have found it.This means carry away any rubbish,packaging,uneaten food,etc .Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries re competitions etc.
